ABISS Breda 2026 - FOR THE 2nd TIME, 500 industrial professionals and 45 exhibitors will come together at this one-day industrial technology summit and networking event. Here they will discover and benchmark the latest technologies and insights in IIoT, smart, connected and secured industry.

Scalability: An OT professional can make one machine smart. But connecting 500 machines across 5 different countries requires the network infrastructure and cloud expertise of IT. This theme focuses on which platforms, networks and connectivity technologies should be used to upload, process and send data back to machines quickly and efficiently. |

Data contextualisation: IIoT only works when data from machines (OT) is correctly interpreted by algorithms (IT). This requires IT professionals and engineers to work together to determine which data is relevant, how it should be analysed, which algorithms, models and LLMs will run on this data, and how it can ultimately be translated into meaningful KPIs such as uptime, OEE, ROI, etc. |
Industry Of Things
OT systems are often outdated (legacy) and were never designed to be connected to the internet. If OT installs an IIoT gateway without IT support, the factory becomes vulnerable to hackers. IT must provide the security, while OT must indicate which processes can never be interrupted by those security measures. |
